With the line in port on the play 5 connect and connect amp a turntable can be integrated into a sonos system enabling you to stream your vinyl records throughout the house.
Simply use the room tab in the sonos app to group them together.
As mentioned above if you connect your record player to the sonos play 5 you can group that speaker with other sonos speakers.
Hi guys i m looking at purchasing a sonos soon but have a question regarding the compatibility with my vinyl player.
Open the sonos app on your phone or tablet.
Just take the audio cable that comes with your connect plug one end into your turntable and the other end into corresponding colours of the l r inputs at the back of your connect.
The connect lets you use your amplified audio equipment to bring the sound of your vinyl collection into your sonos system and to more rooms.
Some customers purely use the sonos connect as a line in method for their turntable or other legacy audio devices.
Your turntable will be able to connect to sonos as long as you have a sonos product with a line in port.
Listen to your vinyl collection on sonos.
Similar to the play 5 set up all you will need to do is connect the supplied cables from your sonos connect or connect amp rega turntable to included pre amp.
Go to the browse tab select line in and then choose the line in source.
