I bought a log wizard about 6 months ago and i love it.
Debarking logs pressure washer.
Do obvious dirt first.
Anything less will cause difficulty in removing some types of bark.
I can debark a 24 x 8 log completely covered in mud in about five minutes.
Try to find a place away from the mill to do your pressure washing.
Pressure washers are good wash things out not into wood too much pressure wrong angle.
Tip 1 either wet the bark before.

To strip the last tricky pieces of bark from a log some people have found a powerful pressure washer to be a helpful tool.
I keep logs out of the dirt skidding transporting.
Small scale a good stiff steel brush helps.
I get the logs up on a deck about waist high or what ever is comfortable then i use my chainsaw to cut the knots down flush then i use a bigger knife to knock the bark off then a smaller light sharper knife to remove the sap layer and clean things up.
To debark with a pressure washer you ll want to make sure you invest in at least a 2 000 psi pressure washer.
I have a very powerful pressure washer but for me it make to much mess so i just use and axe or spud when the logs are real dirty.
This has the advantage of also removing some of the slippery residue that might be left after the bark has been peeled.
You only have to brush on the cut.
I find drawknife is the easiest.
The bark on some of the fir is 2 or 3 thick so if the logs are going to sit around for a while for i saw them i run one or two splits down the lenght of the tree with a chain saw.
